7.1. Requested YouTube API Permissions

Our platform requests the following YouTube API permissions (scopes) to provide services:

Why It's Needed:

  • Enable video uploads to your YouTube channel
  • Edit video title, description, category, and privacy settings
  • Upload and update thumbnails
  • Manage video tags and metadata
  • Track upload status (processing, uploaded, rejected)

What It Does NOT Do: This permission is only used for uploading and editing videos. It will not delete your videos or make unauthorized changes.

Why It's Needed:

  • Display your YouTube channel information (name, description, profile picture)
  • Show channel statistics (subscriber count, video count, total views)
  • Retrieve list of uploaded videos
  • Read video details (title, description, views, likes)
  • Display playlists
  • Show video performance analytics

What It Does NOT Do: This is a read-only permission. It does not modify, delete, or edit any data.

  • Minimal Permissions: We only request necessary permissions for our services
  • Secure Storage: Access tokens are stored encrypted
  • Auto-Refresh: Tokens are auto-refreshed; we never store your password

7.3. How to Revoke Permissions?

  1. Visit Google Account Permissions page
  2. Find "RakiAI" application
  3. Click "Remove Access" button
  4. All permissions will be revoked immediately

Important information about YouTube API usage:

  • Google's Privacy Policy applies
  • Your data is processed according to YouTube's data usage policies
  • You can revoke YouTube API access at any time
  • Your data is not shared with third parties
